Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 December 2025

These Terms of Use (the Terms) apply to your use of StrategyHub, including:

  • the StrategyHub marketing site (for example, strategyhub.co.uk), and
  • the StrategyHub tools and diagnostics (for example, tools.strategyhub.co.uk).

If you buy or subscribe to any Paid Features, additional Purchase/Subscription Terms may apply. If there is a conflict, those Purchase/Subscription Terms will take priority.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use StrategyHub.

1. Who we are

StrategyHub is operated by Accural Limited (we, us, our).

You may see StrategyHub described as “StrategyHub by Accural”. References to “StrategyHub” mean the website, Tools, and services we provide under these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Content: articles, templates, questionnaires, scoring logic, diagrams, reports, PDFs, copy, and other materials we publish or make available.
  • Tools: interactive questionnaires, diagnostics, calculators, scoring engines, and related features.
  • Inputs: information you submit to the Tools.
  • Output: results, summaries, recommendations, scores, PDFs, or other materials generated by the Tools.
  • Paid Features: any features, content, tools, or access levels that require payment or a subscription.
  • Purchase/Subscription Terms: any additional terms presented to you at the point of purchase or subscription for Paid Features.
  • You: the person using StrategyHub (and, where relevant, the organisation you represent).

3. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time (for example, to reflect changes to StrategyHub or legal requirements). The “Last updated” date shows when changes were made.

If we make changes that materially affect your rights or how you use StrategyHub, we will take reasonable steps to let you know before the changes take effect (for example, by a notice on the website or within the Tools) except where a change is needed urgently for security or legal reasons.

You can stop using StrategyHub at any time. If you do not agree to an updated version of these Terms, you should stop using StrategyHub. If you have paid for access and a material change applies, you may cancel in line with the relevant Purchase/Subscription Terms.

4. Access and availability

We aim to keep StrategyHub available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We do not offer service levels or uptime commitments unless we expressly agree them in writing.

If you rely on any Outputs, you are responsible for backing them up.

We may carry out planned maintenance and updates. Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice (for example, via a notice on the website or within the Tools). Some interruptions may happen without notice (for example, to address security, stability, or emergency issues).

We may:

  • change, suspend, or withdraw any part of StrategyHub;
  • apply reasonable limits (including rate limits) and other controls to protect performance and fair use; and
  • restrict access to protect security, integrity, or other users.

If you have paid for access and we suspend or withdraw a paid feature, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice where practicable. Any consequences for access, fees, renewals, or cancellation will be handled in line with the relevant Purchase/Subscription Terms.

Outputs are generated for you to view and download. We do not normally store separate copies of Outputs after they are generated, unless we need to for security or to operate a Paid Feature you’ve chosen.

Our Privacy, Data & Cookies page explains what diagnostic data we keep and for how long.

5. Eligibility and authority

By using StrategyHub, you confirm that:

  • you can legally enter into these Terms;
  • if you are using StrategyHub as a consumer, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws; and
  • if you use StrategyHub on behalf of a business, you have authority to bind that business.

StrategyHub is not intended for children. If you are under 18, you should not use StrategyHub.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to (and not to help anyone else to):

  • use StrategyHub in any way that breaks applicable law or regulation;
  • upload or input anything you do not have the right to use (including confidential information belonging to third parties);
  • interfere with, damage, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of StrategyHub (including introducing malware, scraping at scale, probing, or denial-of-service activity);
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, scoring logic, or models, except to the extent allowed by law; or
  • present Output as professional advice, due diligence, or a guaranteed result.

Do not use StrategyHub as the sole basis for any regulated, safety-critical, or legally determinative decision.

We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe you are breaching this section. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the issue before taking action.

We may act immediately and without notice where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect StrategyHub, other users, or security, to prevent harm, or where we are required to do so by law. If you believe we have acted in error, you can contact us using the details on the StrategyHub website.

7. Tools and Outputs are not professional advice

StrategyHub is intended to support clearer thinking and better decisions. However:

  • Tools and Outputs are general and informational.
  • They do not constitute financial, legal, tax, investment, accounting, HR, regulatory, or other professional advice.
  • Any diagnostic scores, summaries, roadmaps, or recommendations are indicative only. They are not a guarantee, forecast, promise, or certification of performance, compliance, outcomes, or suitability.
  • Output may be incomplete, simplified, or based on assumptions (including assumptions created by your Inputs) and may not reflect all relevant facts or risks.

Using StrategyHub does not create an accountant-client, solicitor-client, or advisory relationship. We do not act as your agent or fiduciary. Outputs depend on the completeness and accuracy of your Inputs and are not independently verified.

You are responsible for:

  • checking Output against your real situation;
  • applying professional judgement; and
  • getting appropriate professional advice where needed.

Do not rely on Output as the sole basis for any decision that could materially affect your business, people, finances, compliance position, or legal rights. Do not present Output to others as verified professional advice or due diligence.

8. Your inputs

If you input information into the Tools, you agree that:

  • it is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • you have the right to provide it (including where it relates to other people); and
  • you will avoid including unnecessary personal data (especially special category data) unless a Tool explicitly requires it.

Do not input information you consider highly confidential or trade secrets unless you accept the risk of online transmission and storage. We do not guarantee absolute security.

If you provide personal data (including personal data about other people), you confirm you have a lawful basis to provide it and, where required, have provided appropriate information to the individuals concerned.

Our Privacy, Data & Cookies page explains how we handle personal data, including whether we act as a controller or processor in different contexts, and our purposes and lawful bases.

If a Tool requests special category data, it will explain what is required and why, and (where applicable) will ask for explicit consent or rely on another valid condition under Article 9 UK GDPR.

9. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in StrategyHub and the Content (including the Tools, scoring logic, and presentation) belong to us or our licensors.

Your inputs. You keep any rights you may have in what you submit to the Tools (Inputs). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, use, reproduce, process, and generate outputs from your Inputs so we can provide, operate, secure, maintain, and improve StrategyHub and the Tools.

Outputs. As between you and us, we own the Tools and the way Outputs are generated and presented. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, store, and use Outputs for your internal business purposes.

You may share Outputs on a confidential basis with people reasonably involved in your decision-making (for example, your directors, employees, lenders, investors, and professional advisers), provided you do not present them as verified professional advice or due diligence. Outputs are provided to you; any third party who receives them does so at their own risk. We accept no duty of care or liability to third parties who rely on Outputs.

You must not:

  • copy, republish, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Content, Tools, or Outputs (except for the permitted internal and confidential sharing described above);
  • remove proprietary notices; or
  • create competing tools or derivative works based on the Tools or scoring logic.

If you want to use Content, Tools, or Outputs commercially (for example, in paid client work, training, or a product), contact us for permission.

StrategyHub may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, security, or practices.

We may also use third-party service providers (for example, hosting, email delivery, analytics, and other infrastructure) to operate and improve the website and Tools. Where this involves personal data or cookies (or similar technologies), our Privacy, Data & Cookies page explains the purposes, providers, locations, and any consent mechanisms for non-essential cookies.

We are not responsible for third-party service outages or changes that affect availability or functionality.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.

11. No warranties

StrategyHub is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law (including rights relating to digital content and digital services).

To the fullest extent permitted by law (and subject to any mandatory consumer rights), we do not warrant that StrategyHub will:

  • meet your requirements;
  • be error-free;
  • produce any particular outcomes; or
  • be suitable for any specific purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
  • any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

If you are a consumer, nothing in this section limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, and it does not affect any statutory rights you have in relation to digital content or digital services.

If you use StrategyHub for business purposes, and subject to the above (and any requirements of reasonableness under applicable law):

  • we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses (including loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or opportunity);
  • we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on Content or Output;
  • if you have not paid for StrategyHub before the event giving rise to the claim, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with StrategyHub will not exceed £100; and
  • if you have paid for StrategyHub, our total liability to you for all such claims will not exceed the total fees you paid to us for the Paid Features that gave rise to the claim.

13. Your responsibility and indemnity

This section applies only if you are using StrategyHub for business purposes.

If you breach these Terms or applicable law in connection with your use of StrategyHub and that breach causes us loss or damage, you will indemnify us for our direct losses and our reasonable, properly incurred costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from that breach.

14. Privacy and cookies

We process personal data in line with our Privacy, Data & Cookies page. It explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to StrategyHub if:

  • you breach these Terms;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, or security risk; or
  • we are required to do so by law.

After suspension or termination, you may lose access to the Tools, and any associated data may be deleted in line with our Privacy, Data & Cookies page.

You may stop using StrategyHub at any time.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer laws (including rules on where you can bring proceedings).

If you are using StrategyHub for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

17. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms or StrategyHub, you can contact us using the contact details shown on the StrategyHub website (including our email address and geographic address). Our company details are also shown on the website.

If you are a consumer and have a complaint about any paid service, you can contact us using those details. We will aim to respond within a reasonable time.
